The gun was made 1937-1965. The gun traders guide has the value NIB $121.00 Ex. $97.00 Gd.$66.00.
It was manufactured from 1937-1965 and currently valued in great condition without refinishing at around $200.
This gun was made from 1937 to 1965. The Standard Catalog says $50 in NRA Good, but I doubt if it would sell quite that low.
I would try numrich gun parts corp.first.they can be found on the web.

I also have the J. Stevens Arms Co mod 258A 20 gauge shotgun. Mine had no stock until today, cut one out of some black walnut just for this old long barrel. The maker J. Stevens And model 258A 20 Gauge shotgun. I put a brown finish insted of blue on this one. It is a lot of fun to shoot too! Sorry i have no idea what it is worth.
Late 1930's, value up to $100. sales@countrygunsmith.net
If both the Stevens and Savage names are on the gun, it was made between 1948 and 1991. Model 258 is a double barrel, right? (don't have my reference book at hand) If so, if fully functioning and in decent shape, it should be worth around $250. The 258A is a bolt action Shotgun. The 258 is a bolt action shotgun manufactured between 1937-1965 with a two shell detachable box magazine. I would say that 250 is a reach. I would put it around $130.
I have this model gun however i know very little about it. EBAY e-gunparts.com is an awesome parts site
I would say it's around 75-65 used.
75-200
These where made from 1955-1971. If in 90% condition about $130.
