What is the age and value of a J Stevens Arms Company double barrel shotgun model 345?
Hi. I also have a model 345 that has been in my family since before the depression. I don't have a clue as to the resale value of these but will tell you they couldn't pry it out of my hands. I use it every year for ruffed grouse and it is still a great shotgun. I have a copy of a magazine "The Literary Journal" dated April 24, 1920, that has an full page ad in it for the 345. For a small fee I would send you a scaned copy if you wish. Good Luck!Mike e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
there is a model 311a double barrel shotgun made by Stevens/savage but have not heard of just an 11a. I have a 20ga 311a given to me by my grandpa and he said it was made in the fifties. You can go to Google and type in Stevens model 311 and will pull up information on this shotgun. Answer Remington made a model 11a but it was not a double barrel it was a semiauto.
The value of the Stevens double barrel hammer type 12 gauge shotgun Model 235 Serial A41731 and its value?
I can say that the marking stevens Arms and Tool company was marked on stevens made firearms from 1886-1915.This time period would include your double barrel shotgun. As to value that would dpend on your shotgun having steel barrel or Damascus twist steel barrel(BLACKPOWDER ONLY).The ovreall condition would also be important.
