Go to the Springfield Armory Web site and click on the link for their email address. Give them all the info about the 30-40 Krag that you can. They say they will answer in 3/4 wks. Springfield Armory is now a museum and if your gun was made at their company, they have the info you will need. Be sure to give all the facts. The serial no. who bought it, and where, if you know. Also, any strange markings on the weapon. I believe it's best to go back to where it was possibly made.

# 5971 - Model 1898 Kraig [Krag] i did find this however if it helps any. 12/20/2003 Skip, Lake City, Florida 3040 Kraig - Springfield Armory - 3040 - 30'' - Blue - 201826 - Marking on top left side of receiver are: US Model 1898 Springfield Armory 201826 I own a 1898 3040 Kraig. Could you tell me about this gun and it's approximate worth? The rifle is in very good condition and internally it's almost perfect. Answer: Skip- Your rifle was made about 1899, and was probably issued to U.S. Army regular units, or perhaps a National Guard outfit and eventually turned in when replaced by Model 1903 Springfields. Several rifles in this serial number range were noted as being in the hands of the 12th Infantry in 1903, or the Washington National Guard in 1905, but your rifle is not specifically listed. Anyone interested in checking for possible history on U.S. guns should check the Springfield Research Services listing on our other site, http://ArmsCollectors.com Value depends on condition and could be anywhere from a few hundred dollars up, but from your description it sounds like a slightly above average example, so I would guess it might bring $600-800 retail. The way to calculate any percentage is to divide the part by the whole...that is in this case 1471 of 3040. So, divide 1471 by 3040 = 0.483881578 And then multiply by 100, so 1471 is 48.4%(1 d.p) of 3040
JUST BOUGHT ONE FOR $1000 AND I STOLE IT THEY RUN ABOUT $2000 IF REAL CLEAN
The Roman numeral MMMXL represents the number 3040.
No. The Alcatel 3040 is a basic phone, which does not run the Android OS.
The tens place value is the second digit to the left of the decimal point. The decimal point is always to the right of the ones digit; in a whole number, the decimal point is "hiding" (not written) after the ones digit. In 3040 the tens digit is the 4.
