30 years of working on motorcycles, there is no exact setting what you do is turn the mix in until you hear the motor change, if it picks up rpm this is fine just keep turn until the rpms reaches its top then turn the idle screw down,
The pilot screw setting should be screwed in until it is snug (not tight), then backed out 1 and 3/4 turns.
If the carburetor is cleaned on the Yamaha Bruin 350 and it will idle but stall when given gas, it could be that the float is sticking. The carburetor may also need to be adjusted by turning the adjustment screw so that it is not getting too much gas when revved.
turn clockwise till stopped, then 1 1/4 turn out is the basic setting
The only setting is one screw on the top of each carb its the mixture screw and should is 1.5 turns out by default.
screw it all the way in and then back it out 1 1/2 full turns and begin adjusting from there.
how to adjust air fuel mixture on yamaha sh50? Is the screw an air screw (in to richen) or a fuel screw? (out to richen)
On the side of the carb.
With a screw driver
The optimal setting for a pilot screw on almost any bike is one and one half full turns out from the closed position.
M5x80
Drive a flat blade screw driver into it. Then turn screw driver to on position.
