5.4 is a bit quick thus not to be considered an average. I would say 5.9-6.1
Well it depends if the boy has played sports before. A boy that has played sports for less than 3 years and is not a monster at sports I would say a 5.4
I played sports for one year and I got 5.2 on the dash....
6.85-6.36 is good
i am 11 and I ran it in 5.17
im 11 i ran mine today in 4.8 thats and yes i do take steroids JK! i ran mine in 5.0 and thats way to good average is 5.8-6.5

lots of kids will come home and tell you that they got a time of 13 seconds and you will think that they are really fast but the truth is that the timing was probably not accurate. The people timing it probably started the watch to late or the kid started to early. Truthfully 13 seconds is very hard to get so if you do time yourself again and you will see that your actual time is 16 seconds Which is light years away from 13. I just wanted to write this and inform everybody because timing with a stopwatch is not that accurate And I could probably tell you ten reasons why. So my point is, if you get an amazing time like 13 seconds, time yourself again and see what you get because chances are the timing was not accurate.

β 10y agowell im 12 and i run it in 13.14 and im not a runner or anything though i am a bit of a athletic freak (trying not to be full of it or anything) so for 11 year old anything from 18-23 would be good like even for other boys in my grade who are heaps sport and stuff still got 19 secs.
im 13 and i go to an average school but i can do a 13:65 and when i go to competitions there are people who can do 12 on the dot at 13 so at11 you should be aiming for a good 16 17

I think an average 40 yard dash for an 11 year old boy would be 6.2-7-5 and 5.6-6.1 would be an above average speed.

If you play football about 5.5 if you donβt 5.9
6.6 seconds is considered below average for a 40 yard dash for a 12 year old boy. To improve this I would just practice sprints and do leg workouts such as squats.
There are no records or data kept for this activity, and therefore also no sample from which to compute an average.
7.2 seconds is the average for the 1000 point club, but average would be about 7.6
A 10 yard dash time is really not a good judge of your speed, the distance is too short. A 40 yard dash is what you need to get a good estimate of your abilities. but I'll give you time for both 40 yard dash-between 5-5.8 seconds 10 yard dash-between 1.3-1.5 seconds
For a 12 year old boy, 6.82 seconds is the average time for a 40 yard dash. The fastest time posted is 6.13 seconds.
The average 100 yard time for a 7 year old boy depends on which stroke they are swimming and the length of the pool. A typical time for a boy younger then 10 swimming the 100 yard freestyle is 1 minute 10 seconds.
My son is ten and ran it in 4.78 seconds
An average time for a 14-year-old running the 50 meter dash is around 9 seconds. For a 100 meter dash, it would be about 13 seconds.
I ran a 4.98 40 so i donβt know if thatβs the record
14 seconds
The average time it takes an 18 year old boy to run the 30 yard dash is about 3.75 seconds according to psychologist Kathleen Stassen Berger. This figure is found on page 421 of her textbook The Developing Person Through Childhood and Adolescence.
My 11 year old just ran 50 yards in 6.9 seconds in two consecutive attempts in the from yard. Distance was marked off with a 150-foot tape measure.
