According to a website I was looking at :
For a 1995 Mercury Sable , the highway mileage is :
3.0 liter V6 engine ( 27 miles per U.S. gallon )
3.8 ( 26 )
2003 for highway applications. It's still in production as a boat engine for Mercury Marine.
Depends on which engine it has and if it is an automatic or if it is a 4WD. It is not going to get good mileage no matter what engine and transmission it is equipped with. The best you will get it around 16 highway.
160 - 180 per cyl.

According to a website I was looking at : For a 1995 Mercury Cougar , 4.6 litre V8 engine ( 15 city / 23 highway miles per U.S. gallon )
According to a website I was looking at : For a front wheel drive Mercury Villager , 3.0 liter V6 engine : 1995 ( 15 city / 22 highway ) 1996 ( 16 city / 21 highway ) Miles per U.S. gallon
Replace it every 60,000 miles. Warning, this is an interference engine.
According to a website I was looking at : For the 1993 Mercury Villager , 3.0 liter V6 engine , front wheel drive : ( 16 city / 21 highway miles per US. gallon )
It depends on the engine and model you have, but our 1994 SIlverado with the 350 engine and 4 wheel drive would average around 13-15 city and 17-19 highway. Best mileage on the highway was 24 mpg.
At highway speeds, YES!
The gas millage is directly dependent on how you drive the car. If you take off and stop suddenly, you gas millage will run between 15.3 and 17.2 mpg. If you take off and stop slowly and you don't force the car and engine to do a lot of work, i have seen up to 21.2 mpg. Mind you this in on the 1999 to 2004 models. I believe the 2005 to 2007 is about the same though.
