What is the average climate in Charlotte North Carolina?

Charlotte, NC has relatively mild winters with highs in January averaging 51 degrees and lows averaging 32. It gets on average 5-6 inches of snow each winter. Springs are kind of mild starting with March averaging highs in the low 60s but warms up to around 80 for an average high in May. Summers are hot and humid with July being the hottest month. It averages around 90 degrees. Thunderstorms occur often in the summer. Fall starts to cool down to the low 70s in October and the low 60s in November.
