What is the average height of an 8th grade boy?

I am in grade 8 and the average in my grade for height would be from 5'6-5'8- if you are in that range then you wont be considered tall or short, if you are over 5'8" then you are pretty tall but if you are under 5'6 then you are slightly short. im 5'10" and i am one of the tallest in my class, in my opinion over 5'10" in grade 8 in extreamly tall, the tallest guy in my class in 6'2".... there is one 6 footer and a couple 5'11"'s and 2 5'10.5. then there is me. i am considered tall though. i am talking male though for female i have no idea.. i hope this is of use to you.. im sure there is some international average but in my experience that is whats what....
Well, Most Of The 8th Graders I Know Are Like 5'3, Less, or More. I'm 4'10 Which is Funny Because I'm Also An 8th Grader But Most 8th Graders Are Taller Than Me. Usually 5'0 or More. Probly to 5'6.

around 5 2 at the bigginning but you will probably grow like 2-4 inches in the school year. this is all averages though. it might be more or less

I was like 5'11" in 8th grade and I'm about 6'3" now. The average male is 5'9" I think, so the average 8th grader is probably 5'4" or 5'5". That isn't alwas true though. One of my classmates was like 6'4" in 8th grade but only like 6'5" now as a Junior, so he hasn't grown all that much since then. You could be really tall in 8th grade, but that might be your full height, so you don't know

Right now I'm a junior in highschool, and I'm currently 6'2. I'm a little on the taller side I'm taller than all of my peers and heads above my girlfriend (whos 5'3). So I was around 5'0 at my 5th grade graduation, my friends were around my height or a little shorter. By the time i started 6th grade I was 5'15, and 5'2 at the end of it. Once 7th grade started I was 5'3, my peers were a little taller than me doctors said my growth rate was slowing down. I grew half an inch threw my 7th grade year and my peers were all 3-4 inches taller than me at the end of 7th grade. Then suddenly i started eating more, ate a whole box of cookies and milk for a snack, felt myself wanting a 4th serving of rice, I ate more at parties, felt weird pains in my legs slept more than 10 hours, and my clothes started feeling stiff. Before i knew it I was 5'11 at my 14th birthday in 8th grade and taller than all my peers by a little. There is no average height, you could be any height at any age, don't worry if your short you will grow.
