What is the average size of a church?

The average size of a traditional church in America is about 75-80 people including children. We all hear of the great, big, mega churches, but most churches in America are small churches pastored by one individual with a possible assistant pastor. These churches thrive on relationships and a family atmosphere. They are challenged by similar situations as with larger congregations - poor attendance at prayer meetings, poor attendance at bible studies, and attrition. However, the impact seems greater for small churches based on the fact that a ten percent attendance at a Monday night prayer service might total 6 people out of 60 as opposed to a mega church which may draw over one thousand out of 10,000 at their prayer meetings. Small churches should be careful not to develop feelings of envy against mega churches or measure their success in ministry against jumbo programs they may never have. I say thank God for the mega churches that are making a difference in their communities. Small churches are doing the same - making a difference and being the difference in their communities. What is a RN's salary in California?

Pastors' salaries vary by denomination, education, and size of the church. Starting salaries in most churches would be $30,000-$40,000. The average pastor at the average church on the corner of your local town would probably make $50,000-$60,000. In the South where large churches are common, salaries are noticeably higher in the larger churches. For churches with 1000+ members, salaries would be $75,000-$100,000. In some affluent areas a pastor could get a package of $150,000. For Mega-churches there are no limits, especially if the pastor is writing books or producing educational material or has a television ministry. As a point of reference, the average salary of all United Methodist pastors in the United States is $60,000

How many Christian churches are there in Japan?

There are an estimated 70 million Christians in China. The majority of them attend what are known as house churches; churches that are not recognized by the Chinese government, and that meet in houses. So it is very hard to say how many churches there are in China, since we would have to know how many of these house churches there are, and they meet in secret, so we can't possibly know just how many there are.
