Well if you are talking about drum set drums, each drum (snare, toms, kickdrum) all have the same basic components. There are the lugs, batter and resonate heads, two rims, the body(thats what I call it). Thats pretty much it.
A standard drum set consists of a "bass drum, snare drum, three or two toms (more
modern set consists of two), a pair of hi-hat cymbals, a ride cymbal, and a crash
cymbal.
So the answer to you question would be 5 drums and 4 cymbals...9 pieces all together
(not including hardware and stool).
But the further you get in drumming the more you realize that a drum kit can be set up
the way you want it to be...personally I've come to the conclusion that a drum set is
not only set up like a standard set but a drum set comes in various shapes.
A basic drum setup is:
One Snare
Three tom-toms
One bass drum
A Ride cymbal
Two crash cymbals
and a pair of hi-hat cymbals
A standard drum set would be made up of a snare drum; high tom, middle tom and floor tom; a base drum; high hat; ride cymbal and crash cymbal
they have 9 pieces
18 pieces? Even with two snares (one off one on) and double bass drums, you would still need 14 toms to make an 18 piece drum kit. Remember, pieces does not refer to the cymbals, percussion pieces, and hardware. Only the drums. I don't think you can even buy 14 Pearl Export toms of different sizes.
Some percussion instruments that are not standard drum sets or drum kits are: bell chime bar cow bell cymbal pian siren sleigh bells timbal timpani triangle whip whistle wood block xylophone
yes,it is good to play and is a big part of a band
It depends on what you want. A snare drum produces higher and lower sounds, if that's all you want, and a drum set comes with a snare drum, and a base drum (lower sounds only), and another drum that has higher sounds only (sorry, i don't know the name). Also a drum set comes with cymbals.
depends on condition color cracks scratches how many pieces etc ...
A tuba. There's really no such thing as a "standard" drum set. Charlie Watts and Neil Peart are both drummers, but Charlie uses a four-piece drum set and Neil uses forty or fifty pieces.
No.
Usually, a fourth tom is not included in the standard kit.

Typically you'll get three pieces of luggage in a standard luggage set, though this is variable.
