Pitching distance for 12 year olds in organized youth bb is approx 46 ft. I would think there is a better answer for that question. Probably close to the 55-65 mph range?? Impove: As a former pitcher, I learned more and more about pitching as my skills and mind matured. For youth players, it shouldn't really matter how fast a player throws, however if that player has developed control and the ability to change speeds. Yes, 55-65 MPH may be a good bar to set, but keep in mind the pitchers like Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine, and Jamie Moyer. None of these guys even on a good day would top 90mph on a fastball. The three gentlemen mentioned have outstanding control, and great ability to change speeds. Velocity is an overrated thing. Hit your spots, throw strikes, and get outs. That equals wins.
The average pitching speed for a 10 year old is 38
About 45 mph
about 45-50 mph
it is different depending on where you live. southern states such as Florida have a higher average pitching speed than northern states such as vermont. however, the average pitching speed for most 12 yr olds tends to be from the mid-40s to the low-to-mid-50s. average is early 30's to late 40's for a girl who practices daily, but ive seen 10 yr olds throw up to 65 mph
This can greatly varry, but the average is around 35-40 mph
i would say fastball 85mph 90mph for a pitcher that has ben pitching for a wile
Probably 45-50 mph.
The average speed for a 10 year old is about 44-48. If 51-54 is really good for a 10 year old
The "average" pitch speed for a 9 year old would be around 33-38 mph. The "average" pitch speed for a 10 year old would be around 39-45 mph.
I would say between 50 and 65 mph
Around the low 80s or high 70s.

My husband and I took my son to a street fair when he was 11 and head pitcher for his little league team. They had a machine there that tested his throwing speed and his speed was 51 mph. The guy said he was above average.
100 mph on the gun!!! just kidding 75 to 80 mph
the average speed is 85 miles per hour^^^ Who ever posted that is incorrect. the average pitch speed of a VARSITY HS pitcher would be cruising 77-80, and topping out at 82 MPH. keep in mind, that those averages span all 4 years, as the average for just the varsity.
The average Pitching machine can average anywhere from $500 to $2000. You can expect any good quality pitching machine to average at several hundred. http://www.sportstutorinc.com/baseball/
