For gas and oil water heaters, you need to know the unit cost of fuel by BTU (British thermal unit) or therm (1 therm = 100,000 BTU). Then use the following calculation: 365 X 41045/EF X Fuel Cost (BTU) = estimated annual cost of operation

When you compare the cost of propane and electricity, the cost of propane is lower than that of electricity. This is because whereas propane is a primary source, electricity is a secondary source.
moving house to an area which has no natural gas how does LP Gas compare for running costs
The tank itself will be more expensive if you get a propane tank. So for propane the start up cost is more, however the prices of propane and gas can vary significantly based on location.
Depends on the cost of how much you get!
A propane heater uses propane as it's fuel source. Propane is very fuel efficient, with a 96% return. It is also a very stable fuel source that is unlikely to accidentally catch fire. Propane heaters are a cost effective method of heating a space.
Propane stove. Propane water heater. Propane fridge. Propane heater. Propane gas lights. Propane generator w/storage cells for electric use. Propane A/C units (not cheap, but have long life.)
WorkForce propane heater model #HD80A part #5001423
The water heater has an electric heating element that is responsible to make the water hot if submerged to water. While the Calorifier is composed of steam coil where the steam from boiler passes through, is responsible to make the water hot if it get contact to the steam coil.
First, there are two major types of frozen regulators: internal and esternal. Internal: This freeze-up is usually caused by a high flow of propane through the hose in some of the larger capacity grills. If all the burners are on and there is a high humidity day, you may fnind the regulator and hose assemblies "frosted over". If you shut down the grill (If it hasn't already stopped) the problem will resolve itself. When you restart the grill, either lower the teperature of the burners or shut some of them off. Either will reduce the propane flow and should resolve your problem. External: If you have a regulator frozen in winter, you will have to warm it up, preferably in doors so that it can dry as well. DO NOT USE FLAME! Although this is probably a job for professionals, either an electric heating pad, one of those heating pads that you put in a microwave, or a heat lamp directed at it may do the trick. Remember that you have to assume that there will be gas flowling during the entire warm-up period, so NO SOURCE of IGNITION should be near by.
Different heaters use different means to work. Some heating is electric and some is fueled by gas, like natural gas or propane.
it is an electric heater

Mr Heater F274800 Portable "Big Buddy" Heater is a propane gas heater.
It is an electric heater, with the heating elements in a straight line (a strip)
Depends on the heater. You can have Electric heaters, propane heaters only to mention two.
Propane stove. Propane water heater. Propane fridge. Propane heater. Propane gas lights. Propane generator w/storage cells for electric use. Propane A/C units (not cheap, but have long life.)
As long as it is installed correctly, it doesn't matter what type it is. Propane, natural gas or electric.
same way as any other block heater... ========================================================== Your Ford Ranger block heater is just like the heating element in an electric kettle . As long as the electric block heater is plugged in to an electric outlet that has power to it , the block heater keeps on heating the engine coolant if everything is working correctly
Only the fan is working, there is no gas burning (gas heater) or the electric heating element is not working(electric heater)Answeris it electric gas or oil Its gas.
Most tankless hot water heaters are electric. I've never heard of a propane one.
Want to supplement oil heat with propane space heater is it cost effective?
