The oral cavity is colonized by microorganisms from the surrounding environment within and hour after a human is born. Initially the microbiota cnsists mostly of the genera streptococcus, Neisseria, Actinomces, Veillonella and Lactobacillus. When first teeth erupt, anerobes like Prevotella and Fusobacterium become dominant due to the anoxic conditions. As the teeth grow, Streptococcus parasanguis and S. mutans attach to their enamel surfaces; S. salivarius attaches to the buccal and gingival epithelial surface and colonize the saliva. And some times semen.
If it is good bacteria, it will assist with the breakdown of food making digestion easier and killing off bad bacteria. If it is bad bacteria, it will make bad breath occur and even let you know if there is a possible infection in the body.
They help break down food.
Just a fun fact: there are more bacteria in a persons mouth than there are people in Australia

The 13 year old science guy
There are 100 million bacterias in every millilitre of saliva in your mouth. Over 600 million species. These are some germs in your mouth. Streptococcus mutans (S. mutans) is similar to tooth decay, it decays your tooth enamel. Porphyromonas gingivalis is gum diseases. The scientist even found a new bacteria calledPrevotella histicola. It contributes to both tooth decay and gum disease. There are many more that can contribute to life threatening diseases. Plus many more to be discovered. So make sure you brush and floss and mouthwash everyday and keep your body and mouth healthy and clean.
I think it can enter your mouth can get the bacteria by chewing you finger nail or eating finger foods without washing your hands first. Then (I think) it lives in your mouth until you brush your teeth. It lives there becaus it feeds off the food particles left in your mouth I think . I <3 $ ;)
There are at least 1 million bacteria in your mouth. they also when you sneez you let out at least 1 thousand.
oral bacteria
your question is quite vague; many kinds of bacteria can inhabit a human mouth.
What bacteria do humans have in their ears
bacteria produces plaque.
Saliva help keep the mouth lubricated Taste Speech swallowing kills bacteria: Neutralises the mouth and the enviroment
the mouth monster
that depends on the Bacteria that are in the mouth and lungs at the time.
Bacteria do not have a circulatory system
over 50 million bacteria cells. don't be putting it your mouth or wiping your butt with it.
Staph
Yes. There are billions of different bacteria living inside your mouth. About 100,000 per tooth and millions on your tongue. The only way to get rid of harmful bacteria is wash your mouth daily and brush your teeth 3 times a day. Many of the bacteria is harmful that lives in your mouth so be careful what you put inside it because then it could multiply!
Bacteria lives in all animals' mouths. The product of these bacteria living in mouths is that awful smell; it's why we brush our teeth.
Ecoli is a kind of bacteria that lives in your intestines. This special kind uses enzymes to break down the food particles. This bacteria emits gas, which is why you flatulate. Ecoli is a kind of bacteria that lives in your intestines. This special kind uses enzymes to break down the food particles. This bacteria emits methane gas as a waste product, which is why you flatulate... Yes, you can light your farts on fire.
Bacteria is always present in the mouth.
The human mouth is filled with good bacteria. This bacteria is necessary as it helps to break down food for digestion. Bad bacteria in the mouth comes from leftover food particles that fester if teeth are not brushed properly.

Avoid contact with eye and mouth as bacteria can get into your body. Use lab gloves if possible and wash hands properly before and after the experiment.
The mouth is an ideal habitat for bacteria, as it is moist, has a constant temperature and a constant supply of nutrients.
Your mouth is a dark, moist place. Bacteria live in dark, moist places.
There are bacteria and and the cells of the body in the mouth.
A dog's mouth is cleaner because it contains less bacteria although these bacteria are more harmful to humans
