Jesus Christ is the main foundation of Christianity, supported by the apostles and prophets.

Ephesians 2:

20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

The basic fundamental of Christianity is having faith. Faith that Jesus Christ, God's only Son, came to Earth and He suffered and died for our sins so that we may be forgiven and have eternal life, and a personal relationship with God. Under this faith comes many different types of faith, a deeper relationship with God, and good works.

The basis of Christianity has to be the truth, more specifically the truth in regard to our relationship to the God who created us and who is Living, Infinite Truth.

This relationship has a practical dimension which is outlined in Scripture.

We are required to acknowledge God as our God. We are obliged set aside time and place to communicate with Him. We are obliged to obey His Law, We are obliged to offer sacrifice to Him in order to cement our physical attachment to Him. This was done in the old testament through offering to God part of what we ate. It was done through our entry into Christ's Kingdom since He was physically here on earth and added to this it is also done today in the reception of communion at Mass.

2. Jesus Christ died on the cross to save you from your sins and an Eternity in Hell.

3. Hell and Heaven are real places.

4. The Bible is the inspired word of God

5. You are a sinner.

6. God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one in the same.

Faith.

Heb 11:6 No one can please God without faith, for whoever comes to God must have faith that God exists and rewards those who seek him.

By faith we believe that God sent his son to die and whoever believes will have eternal life.

Judism

If you're asking who founded Christianity Jesus , who Christians believe is the son of God, the savior, and Messiah; but many of the customs and beliefs of Christianity came from the apostles, most notably St. Paul. If you are asking about the origins of Christianity, it is an offshoot of Judaism; Jesus was Jewish, as were most of his early followers, but when they came to believe he was the Messiah, they broke away from Judaism (which believes the messiah has not yet been sent).

The basis of Christianity is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Without these there would be no Christian faith.

A person is a Christian because they believe that Christ died as a sacrifice for the sin of mankind and believing they have eternal life.

1John 5:11-13 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

The foundation of a religion has the same sense of the foundation of a building. The building could not be raised up without proper and suitable foundation. On the other hand, foundation will be of no benefit if stays on its own without raising up the building based on it.

Regarding Islam religion, the foundation is composed of five pillars, these are: Witness that no God except the one and only one God (ALLAH in Arabic) and that Mohamed is his prophet and messenger, Performing ritual prayers, fasting Ramadan, Paying charity (zakat in Arabic), and Pilgrimage (Hajj in Arabic) when available financially, safely, and physically. The other Islam religion ethics, morals, and practices (that form the building) are based on these five pillars.

As destroying one pillar a building would fall down in Islam denying or refusing intentionally one of the five Islam pillars would bring Muslim out of Islam.
