What starter is the best Pokemon starter?

It depends on what Pokemon you want or what difficulty grass (Bulbasuar, Treeko, Chikorita, Turtwig and Snive.) is easy. Water (Squirtle, Mudkip, Totodile, Piplup, and Oshowatt.) is medium. And Fire (Charmander, Torchic, Cydaquil, Chimchar and Tepig.) Is hard.

There isn't really a best, it all depends on your preference of elements (water, grass, fire). All of them are weak to another element, so they are basically equal. yeah but you have to decide who u like urself

I agree with the answer above, considering that it is like a circle. Water is weak to grass, grass is weak to fire, fire is weak to water. But of course if you asked this question here, you can't just ask the person who asked to choose himself. He asked, so of course that means he can't choose. Below is my answer.

Piplup is the best starter. Its final evolution form - Empoleon is strong. Its extra steel type decreases the super effective damage from lightning type to water type. And it can learn some good moves too. Like Drill Peck, Hydro Pump, Avalanche, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact and many more. What's more if you want to teach him HM moves, well he can learn all of them except HM02 Fly, another good starter is Charizard with its ability to learn Flying,dragon and fire type moves.
