it is definitley windows i have tried Linux and it wasnt as good as windows because there wernt as many softwares available for it but it depends on what you use it for if you want to convert and burn movies and download from YouTube then you should use windows if you want to just browse the web and write stuff use Linux because its faster and it doesnt get as many viruses(it does get viruses)
Linux is an operating system. If you mean what is the best distribution of Linux, then I personally prefer Arch, though Ubuntu seems to be the current hype-du-jour.
As far as I know, Macs have only one OS actually designed for them (OS X), so there is no best or worst Mac operating system, as Apple provides only one.
Of course, you can set up multi-boots in Macs so you can run things like Windows or Linux on your Mac, though Macs seem designed to overcomplicate setting up a dual-boot thanks to it not using a partition scheme Windows or Linux might anticipate. Windows more than Linux, as Linux can actually support the GPT natively in its kernel. Windows cannot without drivers tricking it into thinking its an MS-DOS partition table.
I think its Linux because it wont get so easily overloaded even if you have a lot of applicvations running.
We can not say which is best
Just see computer hardware requirements and choose best windows

The best OS for a computer is based on opinion. However, most people will say the newest OS is the best OS. The only OS that I think has ever been a disappointment is Windows Vista.
Desktop Operating SystemA desktop operating system is one that is intended for a desktop computer (Unless you are a network administrator or something like that, you probably use a desktop computer.) These OSes usually come with things that one would probably use at a desk. For example, Windows sometimes comes with Microsoft Office pre-installed.
Yes, real-time operating system is the type of operating system most people use on their desktop and laptop computers today. For a real-time OS, programs are executed the instant they are sent to the CPU without batching or queuing.
Windows, MacOS, and Linux are the most common.
Desktop icons are created just by using the operating system itself or with the help of parallels. Parallels creates desktop icons for windows operating system on computers that don't normally run windows including macs. Other softwares include crossover and image-editing softwares.
No, as it has no real operating system (os). If you do wish to run desktop applications, I would install windows 7 starter, as it has a small file size, but large capabilities.
A single user operating system is usually restricted to only allowing one user at a time log in and use the system. These types of systems are optimized for a personal desktop experience, not for multiple users of the system at the same time.
the operating environment is just you user interface. your customisable environment. the operating system is the entire basis of the computer working. it's the instruction set that makes the environment possible ===== Operating environment needs an Opearting system to work , OE depends on Operating system , Solaris is an Operating Environment not an Operating System
Yes, Windows 95 is an operating system released by Microsoft in 1995. It is an affordable operating system that is still widely used today by many people. It was the first Microsoft operating system to use the Start menu, taskbar, and desktop interface that are still used in Windows 10 today. No. I believe TI83+ and TI84 do use an operating system.
No. Those user interfaces are copyrighted. However, some distros have fairly similar interfaces that you can use instead.
Free operating systems based on Linux (e.g. Ubuntu) Unix based operating systems (e.g. Apple's) Proprietary operating systems that are locked into one manufacturer and therefore expensive (e.g. MS Windows).
It uses an android operating system.
