The gas tank of a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant holds 12 gallons of fuel. This allows for over 300 miles of travel before refueling.
Just push on the side.
Doubtful. Crawl under the car and look see.
93 octane all the way!
look inside the door for the gas filler.
A 2002 Volkswagen Beetle Turbo takes 91 octane gas or higher. The manufacturer's recommended octane for this car will also be listed on the inside of the gas cap.

What year is your car? I have a 2001 Galant GTZ and my gas door is one that you have to push. Mine you push the right side of the fuel door.
14 gallons... which includes the 1 and a half gallons of gas you have left when your "low fuel light" goes on. That is approximate. I know because I have one. Dude check your facts it's a 16.3 gallon tank for every single 2002 galant model (V6, I4, DE, ES, GTZ).
My car is 2000 Mitsubishi Galant 4cyl. 2.4L and it has 16.3galon gas tank. The fuel efficiency is 20 MPG city, and 27 MPG highway.
Check the gas door and look at the sticker and see what is recommended for your car.
The fuel pump is in the gas tank
In the gas tank
regular at best
I suspect you clogged the fuel filter. When you run out of gas, the bits of dirt, rust , and other particulates that have accumulated on the bottom of the tank get sucked into the fuel line. The fuel filter is not expensive and needs to be changed. Running out of gas is not a good thing to do.
The 2002 Corolla can hold a maximum of 13.2 gallons of gasoline. It is not recommended to "top off" the tank - just pump until the gas nozzle clicks. Very easy to overfill the tank, which can cause serious damage to the EVAP system.
Under the rear seat there is an access door to get to the fuel pump.
A 2002 GMC Yukon XL with autoride can use regular gas shocks. However, they are not recommended for use on the autoride, instead you should use autoride gas shocks.
the average gas price in 2002 was $1.25.
