I'm not sure what help the teeth the most but i recommend a toothbrush with a spin brush because kids will most likely brush longer and it removes more plaque.
One with a small head, and soft bristles. Ask at any pharmacy, or dental practice for an expert opinion on the range that's available in your area.

There is never a single best toothpaste - it is people's opinions to what works and tastes better to them. It would be easier to say: What is the best recommended toothpaste brand for me to use?If you are looking for an excellent brand of toothpaste then try Aquafresh. It has three different colours - blue for fresh breath, red for healthy gums and white for strong teeth. It also locks in vital minerals and locks out plaque acid.
Its best if kids use a gentle toothpaste because some adult paste may be too harsh for kids gums.

Little Bear Training Toothpaste- i don't know if its still around or if that's exactly what its called, but it works(its doesnt have flouride so you dont have to worry about your child swallowing it) Also for kids that hate toothpaste, try Tom's Of Maine or Rembrant.
No, human toothpaste should never be used on cats. Fluoride is present in most toothpastes and is toxic if ingested, especially to such a small animal like a cat. Cats cannot spit out toothpaste while their teeth are being brushed. Pet toothpaste is free of Fluoride and is completely safe for an animal to ingest.
you can use toothpaste to clean your cd
Believe it or not, use simple old toothpaste! NOT A GEL TOOTHPASTE, but the best is Baking Soda toothpaste "Arm & Hammer" if you can get it. Use a very soft close and dip it in the toothpaste and go in circular motions and then wipe clean with a soft dry cloth. You won't get it all out, but, it will take the worse away.
