I use Cory's ultimate piano care kit for my piano. This kit includes a cleaner, Piano Polish, a cleaning cloth, and a polishing cloth. It quickly and easily removes wax build-up and grime. It gives a clean look to your piano. You should also use protective cover of a piano keyboard to protect your piano from dust.

I have used Cory Satin Sheen Piano Cleaner and Conditioner from Quality Piano Supplies and it worked very well.

I'm not sure if this is the best way, but here's how I clean the piano's keys: * Wet some tissues or a hankerchief. Remember: don't wet it so much, just a few miliseconds under the tap will do the trick ;) * Lightly wash each key, trying not to get water through the spaces between keys. * Clean the keys again with dry tissues or towel. * If just water doens't work, gently swipe the dampened rag over a bar of ivory soap.

Be sure to wring the rag out enough so that NO water runs down between the keys. Unless you want sticking keys. :-)

A product called GOOF OFF *** IMPORTANT PLEASE READ****This product will ruin your piano keys.

Use an off brand "magic eraser". Cut into strips about the size of the key. Moisten w/ water & start rubbing. It will take some time and labor. If the adhesive is particularly thick, use a small amount of "Bon-Ami" on the moistened strip. That will help and not ruin your keys. Took me 4 days of rubbing (off & on) and now all 52 keys are clean, no adhesive and still in great shape. Spray a little wax on a soft cloth to complete the task - rub the white keys with a white cloth and the black keys with a dark cloth. I tried the stupid "Goof Off" idea on one lower bass key. The adhesive came off sure, but the key finish is bubbled and ruined.

If you mean to get rid of the dust or marks on it, then spray a very small amount of dusting spray on a cloth and dust it very gently. Then, to do the keys, dampen a dish cloth, or something similar, and just clean them.

Is a Yamaha Piano YPR-7 a good keyboard?

I have a Yamaha YPR-7. It has touch sensitive keys, meaning the volume increases as you press the keys faster. The keys are not weighted, nor are they action sensitive (there is no "bang" sound when you hit the keys hard, just an increase in volume). I would recommend this piano for a child or teenager that just wants to be able to mess around on a keyboard on their own. Myself, I am upgrading to the Roland FP-7F, a very different beast.

The computer keyboard is the same as the typewriter keyboard. The typewriter did have special keys that were not on the keyboard, like the tab keys that indented. The keyboard also has extra function keys that were not on the typewriter.
