If you mean in the broudway musical, her real name was supposed to be Elphaba. If you haven't seen Wicked the musical, I HIGHLY suggest you do!

∙ 13y agoIn Gregory Maguire's adaptation of The Wizard of Oz, Wicked (both the novel and the musical), the witch's father is thought to be the governor of Munchkinland, Frexspar. It isn't until after the witch's death that her true father is revealed to be the Wizard of Oz himself, much to his Horror.
