The first measure you should take to help prevent damage against electrical problems is to do what to the circuit?

Protect the circuit with an OCPD, an over current protection device, such as a circuit breaker or fuse.

What can reduce vital capacity?

There are many reasons that could increase or decrease vital capacity in a person. Respiratory conditions are a major factor in how much air a person can take in.

Do I have OCD or ocpd... I have to click the off button on a phone or a microwave multiple time until i can stop thinking about it?

When do obsessive and compulsive behaviors begin to become a disorder for someone?

For starters, compulsions and obsessions are not normal at all. However, they grow into medical conditions when you spent a lot of time thinking or performing them. Then they turn into disorders, whether it is OCD, Bipolar Disorder, OCPD or any other.

Are psychological disorder and psychotic disorder the same?

No, they are not. As you can probably guess, psychotic disorders are much more severe that psychological disorders. Psychotic disorders usually involve delusions, hallucinations, etc. While, psychological disorders are disorders such as OCD and OCPD that involve different compulsions and rituals but nothing delusional.

What is the name of a safety device that will shut off flow of electricity?

Devices used to open an electrical circuit are called OCPD's. (overcurrent protection devices) The most common are circuit breakers and fuses. In commercial motor starters they often employ another OCPD called a "heater" (UK thermal fuse) which is a metal strip which melts like the element in a small fuse when too much current (amps) go through it. They devices are in the circuit primarily to protect the wiring and devices they power. Circuit breakers such as in your home panel do protect you from a "shorted" circuit. Another safety and most common in residences are GFCI's or ground fault circuit interrupters (UK ELCB, Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker or RCD, Residual Current Detector) which come as both a receptacle (female plug) or as a circuit breaker.

What is the difference between compulsive behavior and being obsessed?

An obsession is continual preoccupation with a person, place, thing, or activity. Compulsion is a powerful emotional urge to do a particular thing, usually repetitively. Obsessive-Compulsive disorder stems from those two words, and involves preoccupation and action, taken together.

How many 5 amp TVs can be plugged into a open circuit?

You can plug in as many as you want but none of them will work. An "open" circuit is an electrical circuit which is not a complete circuit and therefore electricity will not flow through it. If you mean an unused circuit, which has no load on it, then the answer is 2 ea. 5 amp devices on a 15 amp circuit and 3 ea. 5 amp devices on a 20 amp circuit. The reason for this is that any circuit is not to be "loaded" more than 80% of the OCPD (circuit breaker amperage rating.

What is the antonym of solipsism?

selflessnessSelflessness is an excellent antonym for narcissism (as an adjective), as well as empathy, while a good antonym for a Narcissist (the noun and disorder itself) would be Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). People with OCD have extremely sensitive and tender consciences and are thus known to be neurological opposites of Psychopaths and Narcissists. People with OCD are very guilt-prone and overly conscientious. (Note that Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is not the same thing as Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder (OCPD). So, when discussing narcissism as a character trait, the antonym "selflessness" is right on; but if referring to it as the disorder, Narcissism, then the opposite of Narcissism would be OCD.

What is meant by obsessive-compulsive disorder?

A compulsive disorder is a kind of a mental disorder which drives you to perform completely unnecessary and ridiculous to most of the people actions (compulsions) but still essential to those who suffer form the compulsive disorder.

Obsessive-compulsive personality disorder?

DefinitionObsessive-compulsive personality disorder is a condition in which a person is preoccupied with rules, orderliness, and control.Alternative NamesPersonality disorder - obsessive-compulsiveCauses, incidence, and risk factorsThis disorder tends to occur in families, so genes may be involved. Obsessive-compulsive personality disorder most often occurs in men.Obsessive-compulsive personality disorder should not be confused with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), although the two conditions share some of the same symptoms.SymptomsA person with this personality disorder has symptoms of perfectionism that usually begin in early adulthood. This perfectionism may interfere with the person's ability to complete tasks, because their standards are so rigid. People with this disorder may emotionally withdraw when they are not able to control a situation.People with obsessive-compulsive personality disorder believe that their preoccupations are appropriate. They tend to be high achievers and feel a sense of urgency about their actions. They may become extremely upset if others disturb their rigidly ordered routines.Signs and testsSome of the common signs of obsessive-compulsive personality disorder include:Excessive devotion to workInflexibilityInability to throw things away, even when the objects have no valueLack of generosityLimited expression of affectionPerfectionismPreoccupation with details, rules, and listsReluctance to allow others to do thingsTreatmentMedications such as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (for example, Prozac) may help reduce obsessions and compulsions. Cognitive-behavioral therapy may also help. Medications in combination with talk therapy may be more effective than either treatment alone.Expectations (prognosis)The outlook for people with obsessive-compulsive personality disorder tends to be better than that for other personality disorders. This may be because the self-imposed rigidness and control of obsessive-compulsive personality disorder may prevent many of the complications such as drug abuse, which are common in the other personality disorders. However, the social isolation common with this illness may lead to feelings of depression later in life.ComplicationsRelationship difficultiesDepressionCalling your health care providerCall for an appointment with your health care provider if perfectionism is interfering with your job or relationships.ReferencesMoore DP, Jefferson JW. How do you fuse dry type transformers for an open delta system used to transform 480 Volt 3 phase to 120-240 Volt 3 phase 4 wire?

one transformer is sized for 57.7% of the three phase load, the other carries 57.7 % of the three phase load plus all of the single phase load. find out the kva of your loads then size your transformers find the rated FLA of the transformers on the primary and secondary with Watt's law add the individual currents with vectors to find the phase currents primary and secondary then apply NEC 430.3(B) Wire is sized to carry the load and be protected by OCPD make sure the wire is protected via 240.21 (B) or (C) tap rules. There are too many possible combinations of primary/secondary protection and tap rules to give a complete answer, your solution will vary based on distance between overcurrent devices and the transformers and also with your choices in regards to transformer KVA sizing. A simpler solution that is lighter, off the shelf, simpler to install and probably cheaper is to use a single three phase transformer with a 240 wye/delta connection. I think that would also gain you some noise isolation.
