What is the book with a boy named Josh who gets in trouble and is sent to a school for gifted children. There is an experiment where kid's brains are taken out of their bodies and hooked to a computer?
I think the book you're talking about is Shadows by John Saul. The information reads: "They call it the Academy. A secluded, cliff-top mansion overlooking the rugged Pacific coast. A school for children gifted -- or cursed -- with extraordinary minds. Children soon to come under the influence of an intelligence even more brilliant than their own -- and unspeakably evil. For within this mind a dark plan is taking form. A plan so horrifying, no one will believe it. No one but the children. And for them it is already too late. Too late, unless one young student can resist the seductive invitation that will lead... into the Shadows." Hope that's what you were looking for.
How is it that the female vampires in twilight can't have babies but the males can sire one. Isn't that off technically?
Because female bodies need to change to have babies with monthly cycles and expanding wombs. Male bodies do not have this problem and males can have children at almost any age. As vampires bodies are frozen in the state they were in, female vampires cannot change, but, males not needing to change, can still father children.
they cremate the bodies then the ashes are throwen into the ganges river. --------------- Not necessarily Ganges but any holy river. However, little children and sannyasis are buried. This is because, the souls of little children have not developed an attachment to their body and the souls of sannyasis are already detached, hence they don't have to be cremated.
ABSOLUTELY NOT! It is very unsafe for babies or small children to be in a hot tub. Their bodies cannot disperse heat with the same efficiency that adult bodies can. Every hot tub should have a sign posted with warnings and rules for use and these signs will state that babies and small children are not allowed in!
Ways to encourage children to be aware of their own bodies and understand their right not to be abused according to their age needs and abilities?
The onset of puberty would be both a major milestone and a potential danger in that they are still innocent children now starting to sport sub-adult to adult bodies with none of the experience and control that some other adults have. It is also a time when children become interested in sex and the bodies hormones start going haywire. Maturing bodies, interest in sex, easily lead astray. Those are the dangers for that age.
Your personality is a pattern of information, or a type of computer program, which runs on the organic computer that is the human brain. That is your ultimate identity. However, the brain and the body are also important parts of you, without which your personality could not do very much (if anything).
