The point through which one's whole weight acts for any orientation of the object.
The CoG is the point which an object will be perfectly balanced. If you were to stick a needle upright on a table, and then take an irregular piece of card, rest it on the needle and move it around until you find a point where that cardboard will no longer tip in any direction, then you've found the CoG.
Center of gravity = The point through which one's whole weight acts for any orientation of the object.

No , the center of gravity is in a spot where balance is achieved, if an object is dimensionally heavier on one side, then the center of gravity would not be in the measurable center.

The center of gravity is an average of the location of the points of gravity. If you had a flying ring like a Frisbee but without the center, the center of the gravity would be in the hole.
