The nucleus of every atom has positive charge because protons and neutrons of those atoms have positive charge..
PROTON which has positive charge is residing IN the nucleus,

an ELECTRON, which has negative charge is to be 'found' around the nucleus in a socalled shell.

Protons = Positive charge = inside the nucleus

Neutrons = no charge = inside the nucleus

Electrons = negative charge = orbiting nucleus

The charge of a nucleus is positive because a nucleus consists of both neutrons and protons. The protons have a positive charge whereas the neutrons have no charge. Since the atom has electrons orbiting the nucleus, the nucleus cannot have a negative charge because the electrons have negative charge and arent in the nucleus. Therefore, the nucleus has a positive charge.

What is the charge of nucleus of every atom?

Positive.

In every atom are the electrons surrounded by a positively charged nucleus?

Yes - in any atom, you will find protons (+ charge) and neutrons (neutral or 0 charge) in the atom's nucleus. You will find the electrons (- charge) outside the nucleus in the electron cloud.

Is the charge of a nucleus positive negative or zero The charge of an atom?

nucleus has a positive charge. net charge of an atom (not an ion!) is 0.

What is the the charge in the nucleus of an atom?

The nucleus of an atom contains neutrons which have no charge and protons which are positively charged, hence the overall charge on the nucleus is always positive.

What charge does the nucleus of an atom hold?

The charge of any Nucleus is Neutral.

What particle of an atom is not electrically charge?

The neutron - found in the nucleus of the atom. Protons (in the nucleus) have a positive charge, electrons (orbiting the nucleus) have a negative charge.

What the charge of the nucleus of an atom?

The nucleus is the positively charged central mass of an atom.

What is the charge of just the nucleus of an atom?

The nucleus of an atom carries a positive charge. The negatively charged electrons orbiting the nucleus more or less balances out the positive charge.

Which part of the atom is found in the center of the atom and has no electric charge?

A neutron has no electrical charge and is found in the nucleus of an atom.Alternate wording to an inexact question:If you are referring to the nucleus of an atom, there must always be at least one proton. So there has to always be a positive charge. The other component, the neutron, has no charge. The electrons orbiting the nucleus have the negative charge. So if no electrical charge is found in the nucleus, it is not an atom and therefore not a nucleus.

What electrical charge does an atom's nucleus have?

The atom's nucleus is positively charged, with the number of positive charges being equal to the atom's atomic number. The nucleus contains positive protons and neutral neutrons making it positive. There are no negatives because electrons are not in the nucleus, but around the nucleus.

What is the small core at the center of an atom containing positive charge?

Nucleus, made up of protons and nuetrons. The nucleus. If an atom has positive charge it means one or more electrons has gone missing, leaving a net positive charge due to protons in the nucleus.

in an atom the particle with no charge is what?

neutran
