it will not have r.c.a outputs but you can wire up a high to low speaker convertor which will give you the r.c.a outputs you require

If there is power in the radio but the system is lacking sound then there is a problem with the speaker connections. On the 1997 Dodge Dakota check the speaker connections with a spark tester. If no spark trace the wires to find any loose or incorrect connections.

Two 15's will fit in the trunk of a Chevy Cavalier if they are mounted in a speaker box. In order to mount them in the original location, the holes will need to be enlarged.
The most common cause is bad wiring. Check the connections or replace the speaker wiring. If that does not work, check which speaker has the problem and see if a cone is blown. To do this, place your ear near the cone and gently press it in (don't push to hard). If the cone is blown you will hear a raspy rubbing sound when the cone moves. Replace the cone or the speaker if it is blown. If this does not work, change your speaker connections around to see if it is the amplifier.
This vehicle will still be in warranty,if you have a problem, vauxhall should sort it.You could void the warranty if you start delving into it for any reason. If you should be thinking of a speaker upgrade, suggest you have a I.C.E specialist do it.

The two front speakers are 3.5" and the two rear speakers are 6"x9"
Your amp should have connections labelled as "high level" or "speaker level" inputs, or something to that effect. If it does, then you simply run the speaker wires to these connections, then run the outputs to the speakers. (obviously you still need to wire the power, ground and remote turn-on to actually power up the amp)
The front are 4x6's the backs 6x9's
Most fords place a wiring diagram on the top cover of their radios. You can use the pin connections to locate the correct wires for each speaker.
The voltage in speaker wire is too small to cause harm. Plug the two wires in. If the speakers work the wires are correct. If the speaker doesn't work try them the other way. ANSWER voltage does not cause harm no matter how high. amperage is what causes harm. speakers will work like a light bulb either way. positive to negative or negative to positive. with sub-woofer you can tell if it is right, the sub should pull inward on deep base . I believe cavalier rear speakers are hooked in series positive in one speaker, negative of that speaker to positive of the other speaker, and neg of that speaker back to stereo
The rear speakers are 6 by 9's and the front ones on my cavi are 6 by 4's.. I have done a complete system swap that's how I know..
