Rows are identified by numbers (at the left of the sheet) - 1, 2, 3, ....

Cells are identified by column and row - A1, B24, AA5, etc.

Groups of cells are identified by a range, starting with the first cell and ending with the last - C4:C8, D6:G10, etc.
