Correct firing order is 1 3 4 2 Your distributor cap is numbered 4 2 1 3 on the top in a anti-clockwise direction. Match the HT leads from the cap to the corresponding spark plug.Thats it . PW

The plugs closest to the front of the car are 2,4,6 left to right. So the closest to the transmission is 6. The cap has 1,3,5 closest to rear of car and 2,4,6 closest to front of car. The computer automatically adjusts timing so placement of cap doesn't have to be exact.
