No you don't. Find out the recommended spark gap, and then just take them out and replace them one at a time to avoid mixing up the wires.

Oddly enough, the firing order is 1,2,3,4,5,6. #1 spark plug is at the right rear of the engine. #1 tower on the distributor is pointed somewhat at #1 spark plug.
