You use the name of the sheet, followed by an exclamation mark and then the cell reference. In this case, it would be:
=Sheet3!A10

You refer to the sheet by its name, followed by an exclamation mark and then the cell, like this:
=Sheet2!A2

=Sheet3!A10
It is sheet3!A10
=Sheet2!A2
=Sheet3!A10
Three worksheet tabs (Sheet1, Sheet2, and Sheet3).
Three worksheet tabs (Sheet1, Sheet2, and Sheet3).
Excel workbooks start with three sheets when first opened. The default sheet names are: Sheet1, Sheet2, and Sheet2.
If you have numbers on two worksheets in cells A1:C23, you can use the formula:=SUM(sheet1!A1:sheet1!C23)+SUM(sheet2!A1:sheet2!C23)
There are 3 sheets when you open a new excel worksheet and they are labelled Sheet1, Sheet2, and Sheet3.
To specify a cell on another sheet, you need to use the name of the sheet and an exclamation mark before the cell reference. If you do not put a sheetname before a cell, it assumes the cell is from the current sheet. So if you were on Sheet2 and wanted to add a value in cell C5 on Sheet1 to cell C6 on Sheet2, then the formula would be: =Sheet1!C5+C6 If you were on Sheet3 and wanted to add a value in cell C5 on Sheet1 to cell C6 on Sheet2, then the formula would be: =Sheet1!C5+Sheet2!C6 If you have renamed your sheets then you use the new names for the sheets, rather that Sheet1, Sheet2 etc.
Use the sheet name of the other sheets in your calculations.EXAMPLE:You have data on Sheet1 in cell A2.You have data on Sheet2 in cell A2.You want add the data from Sheet1 and Sheet2 and put it on Sheet 3 in cell A2.On Sheet3, in cell A2, put the following formula:=(Sheet1!A2+Sheet!2A2)
If you want to compare the contents of cell A1 on Sheet1 to A1 on Sheet2 and put an X in cell B1 on Sheet1, then in cell B1 on Sheet1 you would put the following formula: =IF(A1=Sheet2!A1,"X","")
I am not sure what you are asking, since you link cells, and not tabs. But, if you want to know how to link to a cell on another worksheet, add the name of the worksheet with an apostrophe (!) before the cell name. If you want to reference cell B13 from Sheet1 on Sheet2, enter the following formula on Sheet2: =Sheet1!B13.
IF they are on Sheet1 and Sheet2, then in a cell other than those two you would put a the following formula: =Sheet1!B8 + Sheet2!B8 So the trick is to use the name of the sheet, followed by an exclamation mark, followed by the cell you want to use. The formula can go on any sheet.
If you have a value in cell A1 on Sheet1 and you want it to appear in Sheet 2, you use a formula. So in a cell on Sheet2 type: =Sheet1!A1 Sheet1 is the sheet name. The exclamation mark separates it from the cell reference. Now whatever is in the cell A1 on Sheet1 will appear in the cell with that formula.
You use the name of the sheet, followed by an exclamation mark and then the cell reference. If you were on sheet1 and wanted to refer to cell A2 on Sheet2 and cell A10 on Sheet3, you would do so as follows: =Sheet2!A2 =Sheet3!A10
