The Declaration of Sentiments and Resolutions was drafted by Elizabeth Cady Stanton for the women's rights convention at Seneca Falls, New York in 1848. The Sentiments demanded equality between men and women in education and employment. It was also in the Declaration of Sentiments that the first announcement of demands that women be given the right to vote was put into light.
