What is a scene kid?

Scene is a creative new fashion statement, simply because it's anti-fashion! Usually consists of 1 or more colors in the hair, band t-shirts worn habitually, and loud music coming from over sized headphones.

Not to be confused with emotionalists ('emos'), who, in addition to dressing darkly, perform self-mutilation regularly.
Scene people are just like you, only more fun, in my opinion.

When you're "scene" it means you support your local music scene. How people dress is how they dress and there's just a look now that people want and like and try to dress that way and people call it "scene." Scene kids have the craziest and most colorful hair in the world (in the good way), they dress with so many colors (which it is fun to see), they are lively, adorable, and nice, and the best thing they have is that they have a lot of self-confidence, because they're able to go out of their houses with all those colors and don't care about what people think of them.

They are so much fun to hang around because they're actually somewhat original compared to all the other people. Scene kids are epic, I think.

there is no such thing as a scene kid. it is just a mean label people put on others that are different or no like them. totally bogus

A scene kid is a person who wears a style that echoes rock, alternative, and metal style music. Dyed hair and accessories like bandanas are common parts of the style.
