An allele is one possible coding sequence that can be in a gene.
Often one gene will have several different possible alleles (e.g. for hair color).
Alleles are now understood to be alternative DNA sequences at the same physical locus, which may or may not result in different traits.
Alleles are one of the alternative forms of a gene that governs a characteristic.
Dominant: The trait observes when at least one dominant allele for a characteristic is inheritedRecessive: A trait that is apparent only when two recessive alleles for the same characteristic are inheritedHomozygous: Two of the same alleles for the same alleles (RR or rr)Heterozygous: Genotypes made of two different alleles (Rr)Pure breed: same definition as homozygousHybrid: same definition as Heterozygous
Inbreeding is a selective breeding method in which 2 individuals with identical or similar sets of alleles are crossed.
Yes. The basic definition of evolution depends on changes in the frequency of alleles in a population.
That organisms vary, by sexual recombination or mutation. That some organisms will be better at survival and reproduction so that their alleles are passed on to progeny and these causes a change in frequency of these alleles over time which is the definition of evolution.
Dominant alleles :-)

It isn't genome the definition of genome is a map of the location of individual genes on every chromosome of an individual. It's multiple alleles- having more than two alleles that control a trait. PS- I got this information from my text book:)
You spelled it wrong! Its actually spelled heterozygous.adj.Having different alleles at one or more corresponding chromosomal loci.Of or relating to a heterozygote.
Both alleles of one trait are either dominant or recessive. Not one dominant and one recessive. For example, the homogeneous hair of a cat would have both alleles of that trait be the same, say, BB or bb. NOT Bb.The above definition applies in the field of genetics. More generally, the word means "Of the same or similar nature or kind".
Dominant alleles :-)
Alleles are genes that exist in multiple forms.
Alleles that are the same = homozygous Alleles that are different = heterozygous
