There is no difference! The name is different in parts of the world. In Britain, (woo! go Britain!) we call it Animal crossing let's go to the city.

However, in other parts of the world such as America, it is called 'Animal crossing: City folk. The only tiny difference is the title screen when you start up the game. It will say a different name (Lets go to the city OR city folk) depending on which region you are in. :)
