What is the difference between a cube and a prism?
A cube is a special kind of prism.
A cube and a rectangular prism have quadrilateral as their faces. Moreover, both have 6 faces, 8 corners, and 12 edges. The only difference is a cube has 6 squares as its faces while a rectangular prism has 6 rectangles as its faces. Well, they both have 6 faces, 8 vertices, and 12 edges. The only difference between the two, actually, is that a cube has square faces and a rectangular prism has rectangular faces.
