A radiologist is a physician (i.e. a doctor) with a medical degree such as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), or Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree and median salary in the US of over $300,000. A radiology tech is not a physician. Median salary for techs is probably around $50,000 or so, but I'm not sure. I am a radiologist.
