As a general rule, when a part indicates "Trumpet" it is for the b-flat trumpet, so there is no difference. Depending on where you play, you may sometimes see a part for "trumpet in C" or some other key, but unless you play in a symphonic orchestra, that isn't all that common.

A Bb trumpet is in the key of Bb, a C trumpet is in the key of C. When you play a Bb on a Bb trumpet, it sounds a C (concert pitch). When you play a Bb on a C trumpet, it sounds a Bb. C trumpets are in the key of C or concert pitch

B flat is fingered /played with the first valve while b is played with the middle valve. Also b flat is a half step lower than b

a regular( new-aged) trumpet has valves. But in terms of playing it they are the same.
