As a general rule, when a part indicates "Trumpet" it is for the b-flat trumpet, so there is no difference. Depending on where you play, you may sometimes see a part for "trumpet in C" or some other key, but unless you play in a symphonic orchestra, that isn't all that common.
A Bb trumpet is in the key of Bb, a C trumpet is in the key of C. When you play a Bb on a Bb trumpet, it sounds a C (concert pitch). When you play a Bb on a C trumpet, it sounds a Bb. C trumpets are in the key of C or concert pitch
B flat is fingered /played with the first valve while b is played with the middle valve. Also b flat is a half step lower than b

Just the shape.
A natural trumpet is a trumpet with no valves, and a fanfare trumpet (also known as a Herald Trumpet) is a trumpet that is long. In other words, the tubing is not wound, but straight, so the trumpet is several feet long.

Not really. The piccolo trumpet was invented in 1890, long after the Baroque and Classical periods in which the "standards" for instruments in an orchestra would have been set. Even modern orchestras generally do not use a piccolo trumpet unless a particular piece calls for it.

A trumpet uses valves and is pitched higher than a trombone. The trombone uses a slide instead of valves, and is pitched between the trumpet and the tuba.

Elephants can trumpet but they can't jump. Fleas can jump but they can't trumpet... anyway, that's my contribution...
The slide trumpet is older and less common, whereas the soprano trombone is more commonly found.

Baroque music nearly always contains a harpsichord. The string family are the main family in Baroque music, meaning that string instruments play the melody. The only other instruments usually featured in Baroque music were early versions of the trumpet and the clarinet. There was no piano in Baroque music.
