A radio wave is an electromagnetic wave that can convey information from one point to another. This information can be modulated in many different ways.

Do not confuse "radio wave" as applied to the electromagnetic wave with "radio wave" as applied to the specific modulation of audio information, such as music.

Similarly, "tv wave" is an electromagnetic wave that is modulated to convey television information, which includes both audio and video.

Radio waves are very big; they can jump over buildings, hills, and even mountains. They have the largest waves in the electromagnetic spectrum. Infrared wavelengths are very small; they can be compared to the size of a pin point. The biggest difference between the various waves in the spectrum are the size and frequency of the wavelengths.

i am not familiar in this however i like to share what i know.

radio waves carry some data at a particular amplitude.. since to make it travel a longer distance the transmitter uses a carrier wave in which the radio wave gets boosted.at the receiver, carrier wave is filtered away.

carrier wave has higher frequency.

No difference whatsoever. "Wireless" is today's fancy, glitzy, yuppie, new word for "radio".

The irony is that it was originally called "wireless", a hundred years ago, before that old

label gave way to the fancier, more impressive, thoroughly modern name of 'radio'. As the

Titanic sank, it transmitted a continuous distress call on the 'wireless'.

Terahertz and infrared radiation.

What wavelengths are longer than light but shorter than radio waves?

Infrared light, microwaves and radio waves have wavelengths longer than visible light. Radio waves have the longest wavelength.

Are infrared rays electromagnet waves that are longer than radio waves but shorter than visible light rays?

Infrared waves are shorter than radio waves and longer than visible light waves.

Difference between infrared waves and red light waves?

Infrared waves have longer wavelengths compared to red light waves. The wavelengths of infrared waves are too long for the naked eye to see, while red light waves can be seen as part of visible light.

Explain why the energy of infrared waves is greater than the energy of radio waves?

The energy of infrared waves is greater than the energy of radio waves. This is because infrared waves has a smaller wavelength compared to radio waves. The smaller the wavelength, the higher the energy.
