BISEXUAL is when a person (male or female) is sexually/romantically attracted to both males and females.

GAY is when a male is sexually/romantically attracted only to other males OR when a female is sexually/romantically attracted only to other females.

LESBIAN is when a female is sexually/romantically attracted only to other females (same as GAY).

STRAIGHT is when a male is sexually/romantically attracted to only females OR when a female is sexually/romantically attracted only to males.

The difference between these two groups of people is their sexual orientation and attraction.

The gay person will be attracted to a person of the same gender as themselves, while the heterosexual person will be attracted to people of the opposite gender. Both attractions are considered normal and part of the sexual orientation spectrum.

Being a lesbian means that you will have an in-depth relationship with just women, if you are female.

Being a bisexual is when you don't mind having a relationship with men or women. (counts for both male and female)

Bisexuality means being attracted to both males and females. It has nothing to do with how you perceive yourself in terms of who you are. It is all about what interests you.

A transsexual person is a person who was born with a body that is opposite who they are. They feel compelled to transition their gender, take hormones, eventually get surgery, and live as though they never had transsexualism. So if MtF TS types like men, it is because they have a female nature, and not because of any gayness. If they like women, it means they have the heart and nature of a lesbian, not of a straight man.

Please understand that people don't "become" transsexual persons, but are born with it and get surgery and take hormones to eliminate their transsexualism. It is not the same as transgenderism where the person is happy with their original genitals or considers themselves happily stuck between the genders. The TS person tries to eliminate any difference, where the non-op TG types often create difference where none previously existed. There is a huge difference between a woman with a birth condition who may eventually get surgery and a man trying to be a woman while actively refusing surgery.
