∙ 12y agoA crumb bun is simply an individual-sized portion of crumb cake. It would be the same as the difference between a cupcake and a cake. A crumb bun is baked in a size that a person can consume all at once, as opposed to a large cake that would be cut into pieces. I have never seen crumb buns outside of New York or New Jersey, even after Entenmann's popularized New York-style crumb cake nation-wide.
