What is the difference between classical ballet and lyrical?

Classical Ballet is extremely different to the lyrical. A lyrical is just a slow modern jazz with some ballet steps and feel to it.

I do ballet, tap and jazz and have been for 10 yrs, I love the lyrical routines because you get to move, be free and feel the music. Whilst in ballet you do still have to be free and feel the music, your body appears flowing on the outside while everything is locked on the inside. Also, you don't roll around on the floor in ballet.
