Colonialism had a huge effect on previous colonized countries.
post-colonialism means the period after any countries took its independence officially. postcolonialism means the effects and the results of any sort of intervention or domination over a coutry.
When used in a non-hate-based fashion, racialism is used to define policy or interpret events. Kind of like colonialism. Not all colonialism consisted of things that were detrimental to the people involved.
