You run the 'dcpromo' command to remove active directory and demote a domain controller to a member server. To remove AD completely you would have to do this process on all domain controllers.
run dcpromo /force
$ rm -rf *NOTE:I would strongly recommend that you verify your PWD is exactly where you want it to be before the executing the above command, otherwise, depression, dispair or sadness may follow.
dcpromo /forceremoval forcibly remove AD from a Server. After you use the dcpromo /forceremoval command, all the remaining metadata for the demoted DC is not deleted on the surviving domain controllers, and therefore you must manually remove it by using the NTDSUTIL command.
RD command is used to remove a directory (folder).
Delete removes data forever, after using delete you will not be able to use deleted data again. Remove is different and action depends on where you are going to apply Remove. If you apply it for ListBox which are using data from an array. After you used applied the command to the ListBox you are still able to get access to the data using array. But if the ListBox the only source of data then Remove is equal to Detele.
You will need to uninstall McAfee IntruShield Command Center
