Its highly contaigious whilst hay fever is localized to the host (your sinuses).

∙ 14y agoThe main difference initially would be that the flu causes a fever and Allergies do not. Otherwise they share the symptoms of cough, sneezes, headaches, watery eyes and runny nose. The flu also causes body aches and perhaps joint aches but allergies usually do not.
