where are the other

has 5 mg hydrocodone

The numbers 5/7.5 and 500 refer to the number of milligrams of hydrocodone (the opioid anagesic) and of acetaminophen (Tylenol, abbr. APAP), respectively. The 7.5/500 contains 2.5 mg more hydrocodone per dose than the 5/500 strength does.

Commonly the preparation of 5-500 would be called "Vicodin" and the 7.5-500 preparation would be called "Lortab."

Hydrocodone is the chemical aside from Acetaminophen (Tylenol) found in Lortab, Norco, Vicodin, etc. These are medium grade painkillers.

Oxycodone is the chemical aside from Acetaminophen found in slightly higher grade pain meds called Percocet, or Percodan if it has Aspirin instead of Acetaminophen.

The 5 stands for how many milligrams of the opioid, the 325 stands for the milligrams of Acetaminophen. I personally recommend Percocet.

Firstly, APAP stands for tylenol. The 5 is how much hydrocodone is in the pill and the 500 or the 325 is the amount of tylenol in each pill.

Basically, the 5-500 has more tylenol in it then the 5-325.

Once again, i am not a pharmacist, nor do i have any pharmacological training, so, be careful out there!

Difference between the pills m357 and m359 white caplets?

Both are generic combination drugs of "hydrocodone and acetaminophen"...Vicodin or Lortab are the brand names. Acetaminophen (APAP) is the generic name for Tylenol. These drugs have acetaminophen in them for several reasons: to reduce fever and pain...AND most importantly...to assure that the patient does not take too many pills because taking more than the recommended dosage of APAP can result in liver toxicity or death. This medication is addictive and people who are prone to addiction will need increased amounts of the narcotic/hydrocodone in order to get the same "numbing" effect. Addiction can be avoided by only taking this medication for mild to moderate pain and only in the amounts prescribed FOR YOU! If your medication is not strong enough, your doctor may increase the amount of the narcotic and decrease the amount of acetaminophen...such as prescribing Norco: the M367 imprinted pills...10mg hydrocodone/325mg APAP. M357 is 5mg of hydrocodone and 500mg of acetaminophen M359 is 7.5mg of hydrocodone and 650mg of acetaminophen

Can a person take 2 hydrocodone m357 5mg to equal a lortab 10?

Hydrocodone m357 5mgs. Are actually the same thing as lortabs. because they both contain the active ingredient hydrocodone. there just made by a different company and have different fillers. the only difference is that one of them is 5mg and one of them is 10mg. the 10mg lortab is probably alittle bit more potent because of the compounds of the pill are more concentrated. hope this helps.
