∙ 14y agoHigh voltage winding in transformer is "PRIMARY"side and the low voltage winding is "SECONDARY" side and viceversa according to the transformer.The Primary side can STEP-UP or STEP-DOWN according to the transformer type.The frequency cannot change while step-up or step-down.
