Oligarchy - rule by a privileged few.
Aristocracy - rule by the best.

The difference between democracy and aristocracy is an aristocracy are usually there because of their privilege at birth, like a lord or baron, whereas a democracy the people are theoretically elected on merit, regardless of social rank or title, everyone has a chance to be in the government.
A monarch is single ruler and therefore a monarchy is ruled directly by the monarch as a single concentration of power. Aristocrats are numerous nobles and can ruled either as a federalistic oligarchy (where they have a united authority in a capital city) or as a confederacy (where each aristorcrat has local control in a specific area, but they unite against threats).
Monarchy is kings and queens, Aristocracy are nobles or people generally "better" than you.
In a democracy, everybody gets an equal say in what happens; in aristocracy, it is only that small group that gets such a say.
