the 1960's are different from today in the way of the electronics, cars and modern warfare. in the the 1960's the cars were all big and old and loud, (of course).
Actually 1960's Lincolns and Caddys were quiet and rode more comfortably than todays cars. Today car magazine writers insist on feeling every bump and crack in the road. If a car company produces a vehicle with a soft comforable ride, they're attacked by the writers. You could buy a 1960's car with colored (red, blue, green) interiors. Today only gray, black or tan is available. You had rubber mats which lasted the life of the car. Today you get carpeted mats which have to be replaced in a few years.

Families were families, we ate dinner together daily
Less aggravation and petty bickering
Hope for America in the world
No Jerry Springer or Maury Povich were trashy people were put on a pedestal
The start of the music revolution, Not Lil Wayne running around on stage with chains and fake teethe
People new how to dress, men in suits and women in classy dresses
People respected themselves more, no fast food nightly
People had more respect for other people
That is just to name a few :)

∙ 9y agoSimply put -EVERYTHING was different. We had black and white TV, real vinyl records, NO CD's, NO cell phones, NO personal computers, ( I built an early calculator from a kit in 1963. )
