What is the differences between debating in a Security Council and a normal committee in an MUN?
Firstly, I believe the question should read, 'What ARE the differences between debating in a Security Council and a normal committee in an MUN?' I believe that the main differences are that some countries are given veto power, but that depends on the nation you represent. Also, you can call for military or NATO intervention as well as the drafting in of peacekeepers. Finally, the standard of debate is often higher, with the committee room often consisting of more experienced delegates. Have fun!
