About a 100 miles, 55 miles from Negril to Montego Bay and another 45 miles to Ocho RIos and Dunns River Falls. Budget 3 and half to 4 hours to make the trip as driving in Jamaica IS NOT LIKE DRIVING IN THE USA.

Port Antonio, ocho rios, montego bay and negril
Negril is on the western coast of Jamaica. It straddles the border between the parishes of Hanover and Westmoreland.
Between Mo'bay and Negril the larger resorts from North to South would be Half Moon Bay, which is extremely exclusive but not really mega, followed by the RUI Negril just North of Negril which is pretty large which are in turn followed by the Super clubs Grand Lido and Hedonism II. Sandals follows up a bit South followed by Point Village. South of that the resorts tend to be smaller and more intimate. However if you are talking of a Mega Resort being built at this time then that would be Palmyra which is huge. It is not between Montego Bay and Negril. It is between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios in Trelawny Parish.
Portland Parish Jamaica and Negril are at opposite ends of the island of Jamaica. It will take a careful driver 7 to 10 hours to go from Negril to Port Antonio. It's a long drive and the last 100 kilometres will encounter many road construction delays.
