Births and deaths are natural causes of population change. The difference between the Birth Rate and the Death Rate of a country or place is called the natural increase. The natural increase is calculated by subtracting the death rate from the birth rate.
In my opinion, the major causes are the people who are in charge, the system of government (whether or not the people can vote), wealth disparity, healthcare availability, and the ability of people to get an education-- the latter three kind of go hand-in-hand.
The main causes of population change is by diseases, prededators, low food supply, and climate changes. This are the main cause of population changes.

causes of optimum population
Environmental factors cause the greatest change in gene pools. some of these factors are radiation, pollution, food supply, population, predators, and camouflage. Of these factors the most important to today's gene pool is radiation because it causes mutation in the chromosomes and can completely change an organism.
competition between organisms

THE PEOPLE IS NOT AWARE OF OUR POPULATION
If a population exists in an environment that changes very little, then natural selection may not provide any pressure to change. However, even under these conditions genetic driftoccurs, introducing random change within the parameters set by natural selection.
it is an change that change the change
